The title of this post is a line from Aron Wright's song Build it Better.

I am not building anything better.

I met someone I like, but because I build defenses around my self, I am unable to move past "Hello".

Without a doubt that someone likes me as much.

I buried myself in a shadow world that cannot let me escape to taste a moment of laughter without my shields coming to my defenses.

These shields are build from the threads of ego, selfish desires, and ideas that exist only in my head.

At the end of the day I am alright, yeah I made peace with it all.
